Vintage Record Bowls

Supplies:
An LP vinyl record
A cookie sheet
An oven safe bowl
An oven
Oven mitts
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 200
Put the bowl face down on a lined cookie sheet with foil paper on it. Then put your album on top of the bowl. Carefully insert your cookie sheet with record on top into the oven. You may need to adjust your oven racks to have enough space for melting your record into a bowl.
Set your oven timer for 5- 10 minutes. Stay near oven to check on it. Once your record starts to droop over the sides of the bowl pull it out with your mitts on.
Either press the record around the bowl or flip the bowl upside and put the record inside of it. Press it against the sides of the bowl either way you choose. As you press the record it will mold into a bowl shape.The bowl will cool completely in about a few minutes.
**You don't have very long to shape it so if you mess up; just reheat it for a few more minutes and try again.**
Your record bowl is ready to use.
